gypsy Heart

This week, two more cards made with Uniquely Creative paper collection called Gypsy Heart. On the bottom card I stamped a small texture stamp ( brown ink) , stuck a few pieces of fussy cut flowers before running the whole piece through my die cut machine in a Swiss dots embossing folder. A little too warm here just now to get into the craft room …hopefully it cools down soon! Til next time, stay safe..

Gypsy Heart

Uniquely creative released an Advent box at the end of November and so for everyday of December til Christmas Day I opened an envelope with something crafty inside. It was great fun and I now have two new collections and lots of matching bits , not to mention new tools and dies to create with. These are the first few cards made with one of the collections called Gypsy Heart. I hope you all had a safe and happy holiday…til next time….stay safe.

Utopia

Today’s card is the first card made with a new uniquely creative paper collection called Utopia. The first card for me is always playing with the colours. This collection is summer bright and I love it! I’ve been busy making cards with a collection that I can’t post until after Christmas and I have had great fun with it and can’t wait to share! For now though, stay safe..

Shades of Whimsy..

I’ve been away on holidays, and I have had a lovely break, and today was the first chance I’ve had to sit in the craft room. I have a new paper collection from Uniquely Creative called Shades of Whimsy. These are the first two cards I’ve created with this collection .There are opportunities to make male and female cards with this collection, and I’ve done one of each to start. I’m looking forward to making more. The colours are lovely on this one, especially just now when it’s so warm here! Til next time, stay safe….

A mixed bag..

The top card is a card I made for my sister’s birthday on the weekend with Mintay Love letters and some fabric flowers. The next card is a Christmas card made with Uniquely Creative Holiday spirit. The bottom two cards were just practise cards trying out some new rub ons from Uniquely Creative. I was dubious after trying rub ons many years ago and not getting along with them at all, but the quality of these ones are amazing! I will be looking forward to uniquely creative bringing out more of these. Another couple of weeks of Christmas makes and then I will be ready to move on! Til next time, stay safe

Christmas Cards

I’m sorry I have been missing for a while . It’s been a very sad time. After losing my Dad last year, we then lost both my sister in law and mother in law. It took a little while for my creative side to come back, but time is a healer and I am so glad I have crafting to fall back on . It is a lovely escape to lose myself in paper, ribbon, lace and beautiful bits and pieces. Slowly but surely my mojo is coming back and so are the Christmas orders. I have sent a few off already with one bundle heading overseas to Scotland! In going global..lol! Til next time.. stay safe..

Lets mix it up!

Two very different paper collections this week! The first card is made with Mintay Lavender Farm, with some lace and fabric flowers added, and the next two are continuing on with my Uniquely Creative Juniper and Sage with some stencilling, and layering. This week has been all about sorting the card boxes for the fair in June, glad to say thats all done now, so over the next month or two I will go through my stash and see if there is anything I want to sell off, to make a little room in the craft space, but for now I have some great male paper out on my desk by Mintay called Garage so I will top up my mens card box with that. Til next time, stay safe…

Juniper and Sage..

This weeks cards are a lesson in Layering! The paper collection I used here is called Juniper and Sage, by an Australian company called Uniquely Creative. This paper collection had lots of interesting text blocks that I could fussy cut as well as flower and leaf images. On the second card I did a little stenciling, and on the third card I used a great script stamp. I havent been doing so much creating this week, I’ve been preparing my card boxes ready for the June fair. I like to do that early so that I can see if I need to make any specific cards. I may have to make some more Male cards, luckily I have just received my Mintay Garage paper collection so will start on them next week! Til next time, stay safe!

Last five Garden Path cards…

I had more cards made with this collection but I have given them to the avid gardeners in my family! I have lots of paper left over and as soon as I have organised myself for the June Fair ( yes! Its that time of year again!) I will be making more. The young people have embraced indoor plants, and this Uniquely creative Garden Path collection is perfect for making greeting cards for them. The lower two cards have a greeting stamp by stampin up . Its an old one, but I like the vertical nature of it. I cut the front of the cards back, and stamped the greeting on the back flap. The rest of the inner back flap is lined with a piece of patterned paper. Thats been my week in the craft room…til next time, stay safe…

More Wandering down the Garden Path..

I have used a few bits and pieces on a couple of these cards – ribbon, bling, lace and die cuts, but i like the bottom card which is just the papers ( uniquely Creative Garden Path) I love the idea of layering up old pallets for garden beds!In my Garden this week I have been picking Tomatoes, beans, and plums and planting lettuces. Its been a very mild week weather -wise here so some things are taking longer to ripen but we get there in the end! Til next time, stay safe…
